Ericsson Secures Three-Year Managed Service Deal with China Unicom

Unicom, a provincial subsidiary of China Unicom, has granted a managed service
contract to Ericsson, according to a November 9, 2010 press release by
Ericsson. Pursuant to the three-year contract, Ericsson will be responsible for
field maintenance of base station sites, fixed network and transmissions in
Anhui Province, located in the eastern part of China. It is reported that the
contract covers five major cities in Anhui Province, including capital city
Hefei, Wuhu, Xuancheng, Bengbu, and Chuzhou.
